# HeyGen LiveAvatar

> Connect HeyGen LiveAvatar to SentiVue Talk

HeyGen LiveAvatar provides **avatar video** in SentiVue Talk.

## What you need

| Field   | Required |
| ------- | -------- |
| API key | Yes      |

  This must be a **LiveAvatar** key, not a regular HeyGen API key. LiveAvatar keys come from a separate console and a standard HeyGen key is rejected.

## Getting your credentials

1. Sign in at [app.liveavatar.com](https://app.liveavatar.com/Home).
2. Create an API key and copy it.

## Adding the connection

1. Go to **Connections** and choose **HeyGen LiveAvatar**.
2. Paste your API key.
3. Save. SentiVue Talk checks the key against LiveAvatar straight away and tells you if it was rejected.

## Choosing an avatar

Once connected, open the **Avatar** step on [Model Configurations](/talk/configurations/inference-providers) and pick an avatar. The picker has two tabs:

* **Public** — HeyGen's stock avatar library.
* **My avatars** — avatars belonging to your LiveAvatar account.

Each avatar shows a preview so you can choose without handling raw avatar IDs.
