# Speechmatics

> Connect Speechmatics to SentiVue Talk

Speechmatics provides **transcription** in SentiVue Talk.

## What you need

| API key | Yes      |

## Getting your credentials

1. Sign in at [portal.speechmatics.com](https://portal.speechmatics.com/manage-access/).
2. Create an API key and copy it.

## Adding the connection

1. Go to **Connections** and choose **Speechmatics**.
2. Paste your API key.
3. Save.

<Note>
  The key is accepted at save time without being checked against Speechmatics. A wrong key surfaces as an authentication error on the first call.

## Selecting the model

Once connected, choose Speechmatics for transcription on [Model Configurations](/talk/configurations/inference-providers), then pick a language. 60 are available.
